HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD

First and foremost I have the bestest, coolest, most amazing Uncle ever. I've always known this for as long as I can remember. Let's say 25 years! He has worked for so many bands and that gives me the priviledge to attend their concerts for free and even cooler, to meet the bands with back stage passes.
Here's another band to go on my list of the bands that I've met. I just went to the Hollywood Undead concert on their Saints and Sinners tour. I of course didn't want to go by myself and so I invited my siblings: Adam, Dacia, brother in-law Dustin, and Michael, to go along with me. They all went along for the fun ride, besides Michael. We got the free tickets and back stage passes to meet the band after the show.
The concert was tons of fun even though I don't listen to alternative type of music. I was rockin out the whole night! You don't really have to listen to their music so much to have a great time at the concert.
The band was rockin' out the whole time!!!

Our standing area was good enough to be by the music/sound managers.

This was our backstage pass to get us where we want to go!!!

Us girls know how to ROCK ON!!!

They had a good time, with drinks in hand and all!!!

We could be known as the ROCKIN' OUT siblings!!!

The guys had a good time, especially Adam!

I'm HARD CORE rockin' out!!!

My Uncle Mike is the best uncle EVER!!! The guys said they can totally tell we're related! The guys in the band were SO nice!!! Adam was pretty stoked to go and meet the band!!!

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL-Cycle 13!!!

Oh my gosh! I bet you would've NEVER guessed it. I made myself go and try out to be casted for America's Next Top Model!!!
Really, the thought of doing this came about, let me guess, 3 or 4 or 5, years ago. I remember having this conversation with my dear friend Lindsey, when she moved back to Utah, about us going to the audition together. I've always thought she should try out for it. She might not remember this, but I do! I had thought of mabye making it to Utah for a period of time, when they were going to have auditions there and the both of us to audition together. Yeah, she could've made it if she would've tried.
So I watch the show all the time and I heard, on a commercial, about them doing auditions for the next cycle. It gave the website to go to, to find out when there would be auditions close to you. I found out they were coming to Denver. I kept telling myself, "Should I do this?" Well, I sure enough decided to go to the audition. When I made my final decision, I kept telling myself "Just go because it's not going to hurt anything for trying even it you don't make it."
So I get to the bar they had the auditions at, yeah, at a bar, and there was already a very long line. Denver is just getting bigger than ever for that many girls to go to the audition. The line wrapped around the corner and maybe even the second corner. Luckily Colorado isn't having a really cold winter so I didn't have to wait outside forever and be freezing. Once I got into the bar I was handed a white envelope with the number 470 written on it. There were that many people ahead of me. The envelope was given to put your application and pictures in. When you go to castings it's best for you to bring pictures with you. I brought with me a face shot, a full body shot and a swimsuit shot. I put my papers and pictures in and hoped that my number would be called.
In the line I was in outside, I made 2 "audition" friends that were in the line in front of me. They ended up being such nice girls, which I didn't really think would happen at something like this because girls are often catty and not so nice. So the whole, let me say 6 hours of being there, it was me and the 2 other girls hanging out. We chatted away with the blasting music and didn't do much dancing. You can totally tell there were plenty of drunk girls on the dance floor. Funny to watch! While we were waiting, one of the girls went across the street and brought us all an Arby's sandwich back besause we were all hungry. That was SO nice because hunger was never talked about and she must've thought we were hungry too, because she was.
So we're just standing around waiting for our numbers to get called. They started in the lower numbers, made it to the one hundreds, then to the two hundreds, then to the three hundreds. After the three hundreds, the four hundreds were told to just go give our papers to people and go ahead and leave. The numbers got up to the thoundsands. Us three girls were really annoyed and just thinking "What the heck, are you kidding me!?"
The end of the night ended up having some annoyance for waiting and waiting and waiting and nothing happening. I now have to wait for a call back. I'm not so sure that I will get a call back because I don't know if they're interested in me. I'm happy I can now say that I tried out for something big and I won't have hurt feelings if nothing comes of it! I'll find out, some time, if I get a call back and will be on America's Next Top Model.
Good thing for nice Colorado weather during this VERY long line outside.
It was dance time in the bar, with the DJ's!
There really were SO many people in the bar waiting to hear their number be called. It was like body to body, skin to skin, full.

Friendship Bridge

I have been a part of the Westside Circle for the Friendship Bridge Organization for Guatemala. Friendship Bridge is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that provides microcredit and educational programs so women and their families can create their own solutions to poverty.
My friend, Alissa, heard about it through her Aunt and we became a part of it. We just had our event that was a taco bar and the music and dancing of a local band. It ended up being fun and I had a good night of dancing away to the music!

Some of my friends ended up makin it to the event!
That was SO fun and nice of them to come out for the event that I was a part of :)
We got our groove on and we're dancing away to the music!!!

My favorite things!

I was tagged by Marcie to list my 10 favorite things.

1) DAIRY QUENN!!! I love their Blizzards...yummy! Their Ice Cream cakes is my favorite cake for my birthday!! I can use some ice cream whether it's cold or hot outside. It used to be the cool place to go for lunch in high school when we couldn't drive yet.

2) EXPRESS JEANS!!! They used to fit me so well but I still love them, even though they don't right now.

3) RANCH DRESSING!!! It seams like I might put too much on but I think I need more to complete the salad and french fries good taste.

4) CAMPING!!! Summer is great for going on camping trips. It's like living in the WILD and oh so fun!

5) DRIVING!!! Driving around in my car used to be one of my best friends. It still is even though I can't drive right now. I could drive around when I'm sad, upset, happy or bored and drive around to listen to music and see new things or road trips.

6) BASEBALL!!! I like football too but baseball rules it out and has always been my favorite sport since I was little. I've been to more baseball games then any other sporting games.

7) SKIING!!! Winter is a good season so you can get out those ski's. I've been a skiier since I was about 4 and learned to not fall down so much anymore!

8) COUNTRY MUSIC!!! I didn't even know what country music was until I moved to Colorado and had two friends that introduced it to me. The concerts are wonderful!!!

9) REALITY TV!!! I'm a big reality tv junkie :) It feels like I could be friends with the people and it is all real instead of it being scripted.

10) 24 HOUR FITNESS!!! I LOVE that the gym is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. This is fabulous because I can go work out whenever I want during the day and try and pick a good time when it's not SO crowded.

I tag everyone, to make their own favorite things list!

ACCEPTED

It happened! I went to my meeting today and got accepted to the John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center (http://www.jcasablancas.com/). I talked with them about it all, and such things, and then did another run-way walk. Carrie then went and talked to her director about it. She came back telling me that I got accepted to their agency. WOW!!! The next step is for me to formaly accept it and then do the 20 Week sessions for TV/Print work. I might be doing this, soon, but have a big decision to make. This seems to be good work, that I've wanted to do for awhile now, that will turn out to be well worth it in the end. RUN-WAY, here I come!!!
